• Gameplay - Bosses now drop loot — Ship Upgrades.

Ship Upgrades

Killing a boss now drops Upgrades — a few per player, rolled for each of you on your own. Each one appears as a card and drops straight into your inventory.

Every Upgrade binds to one of your three Ship Systems — ATK, DEF, or AGI — and comes in one of three tiers: Blue, Purple, or Gold. Higher tiers boost your System more and carry more bonus affix lines. Each Upgrade is also tagged to a Class, so over time your inventory fills out for whatever loadout you switch to.

Affixes are the bonus lines an Upgrade rolls — things like a bump to bullet velocity — drawn from a pool keyed to its Class and System.
